Watermark Homes is built on tradition. It is built on a foundation of quality construction and customer satisfaction.

In 1987 Julie Weeks Rufenacht founded JMJ Builders, following in the footsteps of her father - a long time Fayetteville resident and builder. Active in the Fayetteville Home Builders Association Julie has held the offices of president of the Home Builders Association of Fayetteville and past Regional Vice President of the North Carolina Home Builders Association.  In November of 2008, Brady became the 2009 President of the Home Builders Association. 

In 2000, Julie and Brady Rufenacht merged companies. Brady, also a licensed general contractor and former owner of a framing company, solidified the "technical end" of the residential building industry - complimenting Julie's uncanny ability to create business as well as build houses.

Watermark Homes specializes in building homes of many types, with a desire to use unique and innovative floor plans. The Water Mark Homes philosophy of putting customer satisfaction first by building a quality product and maintaining continual contact with their clients has earned this team a respected reputation.

Julie and Brady Rufenacht continue to watch their business grow steadily around them while they remain involved in the community. In 2008, the Rufenachts merged JMJ Builders with Watermark Homes to become North Carolina's premier home builder's.
